Space System Configuration Manager (m/f) Ref.ConfigM_24 The ideal candidate has worked on challenging Space application projects.
Your Tasks Develop and maintain configuration management plans, and procedures that align with Customer requirements, the organization's development methodologies and quality standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration baselines for all space system components, documenting changes and updates as necessary Establish and enforce change management processes (through configuration control boards and change review meetings) to track and manage software and hardware changes throughout the development lifecycle Develop and maintain a configuration management database to track configuration items, their relationships, and version history Implement and enforce version control processes for software and firmware, ensuring proper release management and configuration identification. Conduct regular audits to verify that all project components are compliant with configuration management policies and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration-related issues, foster collaboration, and ensure successful project delivery Participate in risk management activities by identifying and addressing potential configuration-related issues that could impact project timelines and success Identify areas for process improvement within the configuration management process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality Act as direct interface with Customer, subcontractors and suppliers for Configuration aspects, information and data exchange flow Your Qualifications Documented experience in the Aerospace sector Proficiency in configuration management tools and software, such as ECLIPSE or others Good Knowledge of the MS Office tools in Windows environment Knowledge of ESA Configuration and Documentation Management standards (ECSS) is an advantage Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Good communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule Working level fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) Job Category: Vacancies
