Overview:
The Spa Therapist is primarily responsible for delivering excellence in quality spa services to Aman guests, in a timely, courteous and efficient manner; escorting guests to and from treatment rooms and attending to any immediate needs throughout their spa visit. Retail and product knowledge will be a focus to assist in building a successful "home care" program, providing information, dealing with any queries and helping to co-ordinate all guest requests for service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Follow the Aman Brand Promises at all times
- Full understanding of the Spa Standards, Spa Flow Processes and SOPs, as well as having a complete knowledge of: Spa services, Spa products, All SOPs, Working hours of operation
- Knowledge of all massage and facial requirements as shown in training
- Ability to advise a client if a requested treatment is not suitable for them and recommend alternatives
- Ability to give timely spa treatments, providing a truly relaxing and beneficial experience to each guest
- Focus attention on the guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Recommend, promote and sell home care products and services
- Remain quiet during treatments
- Promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the spa

- Perform job functions with mínimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of all guests' information and pertinent spa data
- Perform up to seven hours of treatments per shift
- Work cohesively with co-workers and other Aman employees as part of a team
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Assist in spa reception and retail
- Schedule appointments and counsel guests
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with company policies and procedures
- Provide quality consistent massage and body services in accordance with the training requirements of the spa
- Set up workstation with relevant products
- Maintain cleanliness throughout shift
- Productivity and revenue awareness with focused and dedicated attitude towards achieving all spa profit objectives
- Attend Spa briefings with the Spa Manager and co-workers to review business status, daily target and goals
- Strive to achieve daily target through promoting additional spa services and retail sales
- Demonstrate full knowledge of all professional and retail product lines
- Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up to ensure completion of the request
- Escort guest to and from the treatment room
- Maintain cleanliness of all Spa areas, including spa store room
- Adhere to company grooming and performance standards
- Maintain courteous relations with guests and staff
- Assist guests with retail product and home care advice
- Allow sufficient advance notice prior to change requests for scheduled working shifts
- Assist in inventory control
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Spa Manager
Qualifications:
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Excellent team worker and oriented to details
- Proactive with excellent communication skills and customer service experience
- Ability to accurately work multitasking under pressure with attention to details
