As Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for identification, tracking and implementation of cost saving actions.
You will be accountable to create, develop and execute sourcing activities.
This role could be based in Spain, Italy, Ireland or Poland and will report to our Category Manager Powertrain, Plastics and Fixings.Main tasks and responsibilities Identification, development and execution of the sourcing activities across whole-Hiab spend Successful cross-functional participation in New Product Development, Supplier relationship Management (SRM), early supplier involvement and selection with technology development Lead the QAP process with support of Category Supplier Development Identifying, tracking and implementing cost saving actions Develop open book costings, budgets and raw material forecasting for the suppliers within scope Evaluate and develop the supply base Contract negotiation including payment term, quality/warranty/logistics annexes and raw material indices.
What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar area is desirable 4+ years relevant global industrial experience in sourcing roles Experience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations Project management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs Excellent communication, cooperation and negotiation skills BCC/LCC Sourcing in EMEA and APAC Proficiency in using Google tools as well as Excel Able to read technical drawings Continuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact based approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationships Fluency in English - both written and spoken Ability to travel when needed You will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
