Responsibilities: Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Identifying sourcing opportunities and engaging with reliable suppliers.
Collecting market price data for key commodity price indicators.
Conducting cost assessment and maintaining should-cost records for critical high-value parts.
Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for service, electronics, and mechanical categories.
Responsible for long-term supply contracts and service contracts/agreement.
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers to ensure ongoing feasibility and managing supplier capacity dynamically.
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Responsible for supplier rating and supplier management.
Supplier inventory and asset management.
Capable of handling a team.
Qualifications: Engineer with 8-10 years' experience in product costing, commodity handling, supplier relationship management, having a proven record for tough negotiations and strong communication skills.
