By partnering with engineering and business teams, you will become the technical expert our customers rely on. You'll play a pivotal role in designing innovative solutions and building relationships with major customers in Italy. The role is remote but we require to be located in Milan/Rome location because of business trips to the customer.As a Solutions Engineer II, you will be responsible for:Demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers and designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs and business goalsBuilding and growing relationships with customers' decision-makers to articulate Akamai's value proposition and build future revenue opportunitiesManaging the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurateWorking closely with sales to develop opportunities through presentations, consultations, demonstrations, analysis reports and proof of conceptsDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have expertise in Pre-sales or Post-sales technical solutions rolesHave a passion for cloud technologies, internet applications design, and networkingHave familiarity with application and network securityHave experience in presenting technical topics and possess excellent communication skills for both technical and management audiences.Demonstrate excellent collaboration and teamwork skillsHave experience in navigating and solving issues in rapidly evolving contextsBe fluent in Italian and EnglishWork in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
