Terna is seeking candidates for the role of Solution Specialist for its Rome office in the Digital Solutions area.
As Solution Specialist you will perform the following activities: Designing and implementing robust data architecture using Cloudera Private Cloud and the Informatica Data Integration suite; Managing projects related to data architecture, making sure to meet the required deadlines and quality standards; Developing strategies for the scalability of distributed systems, guaranteeing excellent performances even under high-load conditions; Integrating varied sources of company data in order to support complex analyses and decisions based on the data; Implementing data integration solutions through the LAMBDA Architecture pattern, optimising both the batch process and real-time processing; Analysing existing data flows in order to make capacity forecasts, identifying future needs and ensuring the scalability of the system.
Key requirements: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT Systems; At least 4 years of experience in corporate contexts in the field of data analytics and project management related to the world of data; At least 4 years of proven experience as a Data Architect; Proven experience with Cloudera Private Cloud and the Informatica Data Integration suite is preferred; A thorough understanding of the concepts and best practices related to data conformity and security; Analytical and problem-solving skills in order to understand the needs of clients and translate them into effective architectural solutions; Experience with the integration of varied sources of company data and the development of scalable distributed systems; A thorough understanding of data integration solutions using the lambda architecture pattern; The ability to analyse data flows to make capacity forecasts; Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, willingness to listen and discuss.
