**The team, position & mission**:
Our Solution Architects support sales and act as technical lead in close collaboration with our salespeople, technical resources and with our customers.
As a Solution Architect in the Presales department, the role requires technical expertise in the wider areas of infrastructure (Public/Private Cloud, network, storage, backup, security, servers, virtualization solutions, data center and more) and related managed services according to current standards.
As Solution Architect you are responsible for supporting our sales department, product managers and lead architects in each technology unit cross company.
Equally significant, you will support sales processes with preparation of solution design and describe our deliveries and services in accordance with the needs of each customer.
**Your key areas of responsibility as Solution Architect**:
- Act as the bridge between various levels of internal and external stakeholders from engineering to C-level suite in a technical and consultative capacity.
- Take lead in the intersection of "sales" and "technical" with a highly developed ability to communicate well with new and existing customers, salespeople, project managers and technicians in the landscape for cloud and cloud services.
- Be methodical, structured and quality conscious while designing solutions and services.
- Write technical descriptions for proposals and value propositions in both native and English language.
- Be able to explain complicated technical concepts at the knowledge level of others.
- Keep yourself up to date professionally and be open to learn new things.
Proactively detect and resolve challenges before they arise as problems.
- Have 3-5 years' experience of working in a technical sales environment.
- Have experience in defining, refining and proposing cloud delivery methodologies.
- Have a proven track record in designing public, private and multi-cloud solution architectures, including cloud native, classic hosting and hybrid models.
- Have experience working with XaaS solutions and services across AWS/Azure/GCP/VMware.
- Are a technologist who follows emerging solution and service developments.
- Are familiar with DevOps methodologies, containerization, micro-services and serverless architectures (Cloud native and DevOps)
- Have very good communication skills (both written and spoken) in Norwegian/Swedish and English language.
- Possess the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers, with a consultative and diplomatic approach.
Are familiar with transition and transformation driven customer initiatives.
