Solids Material Handling Engineer

Tecnimont is looking for a highly driven and disciplined individual to join ourteam as an Material Handling Systems Engineer.Main Responsibilities:Perform engineering design, calculationsand conceptual layouts of a variety of material handling systems. Specifyequipment and consult with vendors and client on project needs anddeliverables;Understand basics of mechanicalsystems and processes for various types of handling systems, specially thebasics of pneumatic applications;Cooperate in Design systemlayouts and determine operational requirements so that a detailed systemflow can be generated. Perform all required calculations to validatesystem throughput and workability;Determine and select materialhandling packages from the point of view of compliance with technological,technical, contractual and economic requirements;Follow the supply development, keepingthe necessary technical contacts with the Vendors and accepting the finalreports;Participate (where considered necessaryby the System Packages Head of Department) in the most important phasesof construction, testing, assembly and starting up;Give assistance to the Team Leaders,where requested by them, for those machines, which they manage directly;Provide discipline support and input toother discipline for the detail activities;Participate with project teamand client as directed to prepare or edit project specifications andreports;Responsible for completion ofassigned project deliverables as it relates to cost and schedule;Track and communicate projectstatus, both internally and externally.Graduatein mechanical discipline;Proficientin AutoCAD 2D/3D software;Proficientin MS Office;Excellentverbal and written communication skills;Good knowledge of English language;Open-mindeness and adaptability;Willing to work inmulticultural environments;Fully paid up Company share capital € 19.920.679,32 - Tax Code, VAT number and Rome Company register number: 07673571001Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that for dissemination and storage of Regulated Information, has chosen to use the system named 1INFO (www.1info.it), managed by Computershare S.p.A. with registered offices in Milan and authorized by Consob with resolutions no. 18852 of April 9, 2014 and no. 18994 of July 9, 2014. #J-18808-Ljbffr
