Mission As a Project Development Manager within AXPO Solar Italia , you will be responsible for managing a project portfolio in the region and ensuring the management of projects in the development phase.
You will work jointly with our partners or on pure greenfield projects and guarantee the achievement of objectives in terms of ready-to-build projects (backlog projects having secured land, permits, connection, PPA, and financing).
You will report to the Head of Project Development.
Your main missions will include:
Carrying out preliminary development studies and coordinating all project teams and third-party service providers.
Finding service providers and coordinating and interfacing with them during the consultation and execution phases.
Constituting administrative files and submitting them to the relevant authorities, leading the administrative process, providing necessary clarifications, and ensuring the obtaining of administrative approvals.
Conducting all permitting phases, participating in public meetings, and ensuring the issuance of all permits in due time.
Setting up development budgets for each project and following up on the budget once approved internally.
Guaranteeing the achievement of schedules and budgets of the projects until obtaining all the authorizations.
Origination of new project purchases or partnership opportunities.
Participating in the assessment of projects and in the negotiation of purchase transactions, and monitoring and coordinating with co-developers.
Participating in negotiations of various contracts (land, connection, SPA, and shareholder agreements), in cooperation with local partners and relying on internal support functions and external service providers.
Regular reporting and ongoing information on identified problems and proposed solutions.
Profile Master's degree or engineering degree.
Minimum 2 years' experience within PV or wind development projects in Italy.
Good knowledge of the solar basic technical aspects and a good understanding of the Italian PV & Electricity markets.
Project management skills (methodology and rigor).
Excellent communication skills in Italian (primary language) - English fluency is mandatory.
