Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Software Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, Italy.

Accountabilities Analysis of Requirements at System/SubSystem/Product/Component level SW architecture definition Definition, Analysis, Allocation and Management of Requirements inside the Detailed Design Definition of the Work Breakdown Structure for new design/development activities Coordination and management of design/development packages Management of technical discussions and development activities with external suppliers Support to troubleshooting and on-field testing Required Skills/Knowledge Basic knowledge of embedded programming and Real Time environments Basic knowledge of SW Engineering Ability to understand a schematic diagram Basic knowledge of debugging techniques Good knowledge and use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Ability to work within a team SW architecture definition/understanding SW implementation according to requirements and architecture SW debugging and test SW documentation Software design and testing activities Education/Qualifications: Software Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.

Languages: Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
