The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Software Engineering, with a proven track record of managing an agile software team. Reporting directly to the Software Director, the Software Team Leader will play a vital role in our organisation, with responsibilities that extend across leadership of the team, steering the agile process, and making sure the technical direction is kept in close cooperation with the team.Key Responsibilities Lead and Mentor: Guide the software engineers through the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. The Agile process: Lead and oversee all stages of the agile process from task to deployment, including refinement, planning and tracking progress. Resource Management: Manage team resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization. Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster professional growth and development within the team.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, in close cooperation with the Tech Lead.Code Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure coding standards are met and implement quality assurance practices to maintain high software quality.
