In this spirit, we are looking for a highly motivated PLC Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cuneo. The ideal candidate will be a young engineer passionate about new technologies, holding a degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar, ready to contribute to the challenges and opportunities that the glass machinery industry presents.
The position offers the possibility to travel the world as part of the job, which involves installations directly on the client site (our clients are located all around the world). Therefore, we are looking for dynamic people keen to discover the world and other cultures.
In particular, the candidate will work on the following technologies:
PLC Software programmingHMI Software programmingSCADA programmingCNC/Motion control developmentPLC, HMI and Inverter software installationRequirements: Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related fieldVery good spoken and written English. Knowledge of a second foreign language is considered a plus.Knowledge of programming PLC/HMI (preferably on Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or Codesys)Knowledge of SCADA programming (preferably on Intellution iFix, Wonderware Aveva, Movicom, Siemens WinCC, Ignition)Knowledge of real-time programming is appreciatedOptimization techniques, big-data treatment, and machine learning represent a plusKnowledge of a couple of the following programming languages is required: for example Java, Python, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, relational databases (MySql, SQL Server)Experience in developing real-time automatic controls is welcomeGood communication skills, teamwork attitude, and a high dose of personal initiativeAvailability to travel: The position provides for the possibility of making short trips, approximately 1 time every 3-4 months, lasting from a few days to a maximum of 2 weeks.
