Software Engineer in SW Factory: TXT e-Tech is looking for a Software Engineer for our Aerospace & Aviation division, who will be included in a team dealing with flight/maintenance simulators, support in activities regarding the software used in real avionic operations, both in civil and military fields.
The technologies you will be working with spread from traditional C++/C# desktop applications to mobile platforms or web front-end to custom cloud creation.
Main responsibilities: Take an active role in identifying the requirements and the design of the new applications and get "hands-on" to the software development;Help define the new features for existing applications and then develop them;Design and develop new features;Constantly improve the quality of our software and infrastructure by fixing bugs and refactoring the codebase where necessary;Take architecture-wise and technology-wise decisions in the project;Solve problems and aim for solutions, thinking out of the box. Technical skills: English: good knowledge of English, both speaking and writing;
Programming Languages: good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles (C, C++, C#); Knowledge of React and Typescript;
Technologies: proficiency with the Windows environment and with the Office suite;
Database: knowledge of SQL and the basics of databases. Knowledge of UNIX and networking fundamentals will be considered a plus.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
