Software Engineer

Software Engineer This position will be part of the Control System Engineering team (electronic division).
The candidate will take care of design and development of innovative software platforms as we continue to experience growth in the usage and visibility of our products.
In particular, he/she will develop software and systems dedicated to the astrophysics and aerospace fields adhering to company standards and expectations.
The main activities of the role are: Analysis and definition of project requirements Design and development of software, functional analysis, test development and integration Analysis and writing of technical documentation Work with the head of technical dept.
to influence the strategy and delivery of next-wave product features and system capabilities Maintain the relationship with both internal and external stakeholders Education and skills Informatics, Electronic Engineer, Informatics Telecommunication or Physics Bachelor's Degree 2/3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in space or aerospace companies Strong knowledge of C/C++/Python Strong ability in scripting and test automation Good knowledge of standard communication protocols Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken Excellent problem-solving and proactive attitude Team player Desire to continue professional growth through training and self-education Preferred skills Knowledge of real-time PLC/Industrial PC/embedded systems Knowledge of MATLAB or similar Contract aspects Contract: permanent Location: Sarcedo, Vicenza (Italy) Working time: full time, hybrid as per the internal policy Benefit: company Gym #J-18808-Ljbffr
