The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of software applications, focusing on the design of RF systems.
Preferred location Faenza (Italy) as you will need to be in the office 3 days a week. How You'll Help Us Connect the World: This role involves creating new programs and subprograms and improving, modifying, and correcting existing software. Key duties include crafting applications, writing code, completing programming tasks, developing and performing testing and debugging routines, and detailing work and results.The role includes designing and delivering system software based on specified platform requirements. New software product features are defined by translating business requirements into functional requirements, while the software development process is managed using the Agile methodology. You will prepare detailed design specifications to outline methods to meet overall requirements, and software is developed to be aligned with various industry standards, generating appropriate design documentation.Expectations include you are able to understand the technical ramifications of software changes on a product set that includes integrated hardware, firmware, and software solutions. Participation in a project team of engineers involved in the development of software and embedded firmware products is required, along with designing, developing, and driving unit, integration, and non-regression tests. Interaction with testing organizations for defect resolution and test case development is part of the responsibilities and troubleshooting issues arising from production or customer complaints.Some travel to vendor and/or customer sites is required. Required Qualifications for Consideration: A completed Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with emphasis in telecommunication and wireless technologies and/or in Computer Science with experience in software design and development. Experience in Program languages: C/C++ , Bash, Sqlite. Proven experience in SW developing for: Linux user space driver, application for ARM and debugging techniques using JTAG, kgdb, ; Board bring up, design and implementation with multicore platforms and hyper threaded CPU architectures like Intel Xeon, NXP SoC Experience in multithreaded programming, socket programming, inter-process ; Professional expertise of lab measuring devices Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer and Signal Generators. Fluent English.
