We are looking for a Software Engineer to add to our main development team.Duties And ResponsibilitiesInteractive requirements gathering and requirements engineeringDevelop new modules/features of our OSS/BSS applicationCoding of improvements/bugfixes based on support requestsDocumentation of new features and processesRequired Experience/QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience with Web application development in a modern Object Oriented language (preferably PHP, Java, Ruby, Go)Strong background in Object Oriented design (knowledge of UML a plus)Strong Database design and SQL optimizationFamiliarity with Web technologies: HTML/CSS/JSProactive, can-do mentality, quick learnerAbility to collaborate in a very dynamic international work environmentDesirable Experience/QualificationsFluent in English and in ItalianExperience with scaling a large Web ApplicationFamiliarity with LinuxFamiliarity with PostgreSQLIdeal Candidate ProfileFamiliarity with PostgreSQLPassion and hunger for software developmentThe ability to adapt and learn new technologiesThe ambition for continuous improvementA commitment to putting user experience at the heart of the development processQualifications/CoursesBachelor or master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer ScienceHours/Travel/ShiftOffice hours with occasional local and European travel.Universal CompetenciesContinuous Improvement: Knowledge of transformation initiatives to drive fundamental changes, enhance responsiveness and efficiency to core business practices.
