Key Responsibilities: Perform software check out and commissioning for converting fold machinesConduct pre-test line preparation: compilation of checklists, software verification with Technical Office, check of technical and safety requirements necessary for testingCarry out machinery test in compliance with the required technical specifications and schedulingCollaborate with the team on daily technical issues related to processes, machinery or toolsCollaborate in preparing proper documentation records related to test activitiesPerform scheduled maintenance on customer installation to ensure that equipment continues to perform reliablyTrain customer staff to manage and maintain the equipmentAnalyse and solve any problems encountered during the testing phase interfacing with internal teams and customerInterface with the customer during testing phase and machine start-up at the customer's siteOffer technical assistance and support remotely or at customer's siteRespect quality standards and established safety proceduresTo succeed in this role you should have: Technical Diploma or degree in Electronic, Automation, Information Technology fieldsPrevious experience in a similar role will be preferredKnowledge of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programmingExperience with Siemens S7, Tia Portal, Simotion, Rockwell Allen Bradley is highly evaluatedConfiguration and management of electrical and fluidic systemsGood skills in reading and understanding electrical drawingsProficiency in Ms OfficeFluent Italian and EnglishOrganization and time managementStrong team working skillsResult and customer orientedGood interpersonal skills and proactive approach to workAvailability and willingness to travelWe offer: Work in a global organization with international customers and colleagues, dynamic and modern work environmentOnboarding planInternal canteen free of chargeWelfare systemYearly training programWhen everything works together Valmet is where the best talent from a wide variety of backgrounds comes together.
