Our Assisted and Automated Driving Development team in Italy, which develops various software modules and new technologies to enhance the driving experience while working towards the goal of autonomous driving, is currently seeking a:
AAD SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (m/f/d) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will develop and implement software interfaces to interact with Assisted & Automated Driving systems and sensors: In-vehicle networks, ECU specific networks, Lidar, Radar, High Resolution & High Dynamic Range Cameras, and Inertial Navigation Systems.You will develop and implement end-to-end software solutions to support our high-speed data acquisition technologies, from HMIs to cloud uploading.You will support, embrace, and improve our Continuous Integration / Continuous Development strategy, supporting multiple software languages.You will contribute to data acquisition system design, development, and deployment.You will work closely with different multi-disciplinary squads: Ground Truth, Measurement Technique, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Hardware-In-the-Loop to define and deploy synergies between systems and solutions across our product validation ecosystem.You will develop and deliver technical documentation, user manuals, and training to our internal customers.You will work closely with the wider Assisted and Automated Driving V&V area to ensure integration and scalability of our solution.You will support issue resolution effectively and efficiently.You will ensure safe operational conditions of data acquisition systems in prototype and production vehicles.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Backend and frontend programming experience in C++ and Python, as well as general scripting knowledge (batch).Experience in developing algorithms for signal, image, and point cloud processing.A degree in Engineering or a Computer Science-based subject.Experience in developing software using source control and CI/CD pipelines.Experience in system administration of both Windows and Linux-based operating systems.Experience in mentoring junior developers and supporting their growth.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.ADDITIONAL NICE TO HAVES General and practical understanding of vehicle systems, especially electrical and electronics.Experience in developing web applications.LabVIEW software development working experience.ISTQB certification.ASSISTED AND AUTOMATED DRIVING Our Assisted and Automated Driving team brings together expertise in automated driving, computer science, and vehicle connectivity.
