For This Role, You Will Need:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience is also considered.Willingness to learn new software systems, developing new skillsPositive and proactive attitude in relationships with customers and colleaguesAbility to write basic software programs using tools like Visual Studio with procedural languages, such as VB.NETPC knowledge and skills: primarily Windows, and possibly Linux.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Strong inclination to innovate with the speed of a small company while being fully supported by the strength of one of the largest industrial companies in operation todayCuriosity and motivation to stay updated on competitive solutions, customer needs, and new technological approaches as the industry evolvesGood oral and written communication skillsWillingness to work in a dynamic environment and good stress resistanceAbility to think creatively to produce customized solutionsExperience presenting new technologies to customers and visitors2 years of experience in SCADA/HMI application development is desirablePrevious experience as an Application Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Control Engineer is desirableAbility to travel to customer sites, if necessary, for problem resolution and diagnosis of reported issuesGood knowledge of Italian and English.Our Offer To You:At Emerson, we are committed to fostering a culture where every employee is valued and respected for their unique experiences and perspectives.
