RINA is currently recruiting for a Smart Tools for Rolling Manager to join its office in Terni, Italy within the Materials & Technologies Division.Mission Oversee the organizational unit specializing in hot and cold rolling processes for steel products and associated modeling.
Enhance process expertise and integrated modeling in collaboration with other units focused on materials and processes.Key Accountabilities Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of steelmaking processesSpecific expertise in hot and cold rolling processesExperience : At least six years of experience in industrial steel sitesProven track record in industrial settingsProject Management : Managing complex multidisciplinary projectsConstructing representative Design of Experiments (DoE)Implementing industrial testing campaignsConducting experimental laboratory tests for material characterizationDeveloping models using commercial calculation codes integrated with custom modules to describe microstructural phenomenaData Analysis : Comparing data from campaigns and laboratory tests with modelling resultsAnalyzing large volumes of process data from plantsResearch and Evaluation : Deep knowledge of national and European-funded research toolsExperience as an evaluator for funded projectsParticipation in technical groups (TGA) within the RFCS (Research Fund for Coal and Steel)Soft Skills :Emotional intelligence and empathy towards team membersStrong client management abilitiesProficient stress management capabilitiesWith over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
