MissionOversee the organizational unit specializing in hot and cold rolling processes for steel products and associated modeling. Enhance process expertise and integrated modeling in collaboration with other units focused on materials and processes.
Key AccountabilitiesTechnical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of steelmaking processesSpecific expertise in hot and cold rolling processesExperience:At least six years of experience in industrial steel sitesProven track record in industrial settingsProject Management:Managing complex multidisciplinary projectsConstructing representative Design of Experiments (DoE)Implementing industrial testing campaignsConducting experimental laboratory tests for material characterizationDeveloping models using commercial calculation codes integrated with custom modules to describe microstructural phenomenaData Analysis:Comparing data from campaigns and laboratory tests with modelling resultsAnalyzing large volumes of process data from plantsResearch and Evaluation:Deep knowledge of national and European-funded research toolsExperience as an evaluator for funded projectsParticipation in technical groups (TGA) within the RFCS (Research Fund for Coal and Steel)Soft Skills:
