Smart Infrastructure Junior Inspector Mission
The Smart Inspection Engineer will conduct, organize, and monitor inspection activities of civil and industrial assets through innovative inspection technologies and methodologies, in civil, construction, and industrial contexts. The role involves continuous learning regarding regulations and tools, including software, and interaction with contractor personnel.
Key Accountabilities Documentation and Reporting: Develop a comprehensive system for documenting inspection results Generate detailed reports, including visualizations and recommendations, for stakeholders Maintenance Planning: Use inspection data to develop predictive maintenance plans for infrastructure components Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule necessary repairs or replacements Compliance and Standards: Ensure that smart inspections adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements Stay updated on changes in regulations related to infrastructure inspections Safety Protocols: Implement safety protocols for the deployment and operation of smart inspection technologies Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training to inspection teams on the use of smart inspection technologies Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure effective utilization of new tools and methodologies Smart Inspection Technology Deployment: Evaluate and select smart inspection technologies, including drones, robotics, and other advanced tools, suitable for infrastructure inspections Data Collection and Analysis: Establish protocols or practices for collecting inspection data using smart technologies Utilize data analytics tools to analyze inspection data for actionable insights and trends Education
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Master's Degree in Architecture or Building Engineering
