RINA is currently recruiting for a Smart Infrastructure Inspection Engineer to join its office in Rome, Italy within the Infrastructure Division.
Mission The Smart Inspection Engineer is responsible for incorporating smart inspection technologies and methodologies into infrastructure inspection processes.
This role involves utilizing advanced inspection tools, sensors, and data analytics to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of inspections across various infrastructure components.
Key Accountabilities Coordination and control of technical activities provided by suppliers together with the visual and NDE inspections; Management and coordination of all technical aspects with end customers and construction partners; Management of the interfaces between the structural inspections and the other systems; Management and coordination of inspections on civil assets (e.g., bridge, viaduct, acoustic barrier, etc.
); Support to the tender team for all aspects related to the project and inspections of the structural system; Data analysis and reporting; Factory/site installation and testing activities related to the structural system.
Education Master's Degree in Civil Engineering Qualifications Knowledge of inspections framework for civil asset; FEM modelling; Office package (Word, Excel, Acrobat Professional): excellent; Autocad: good; Revit: good; Available for worldwide mission; English: good; written and spoken.
