LyondellBasellBasic FunctionThe purpose of the role is to ensure the application of National Laws (Law 152/2006) and Company Standards regarding Environmental Management on waste management and remediation.
The main target of this position is to ensure operational compliance to applicable laws and standards for site waste management and remediation and to develop an internal organization capable of safely and properly handling operational tasks related to waste collection, storage, classification, and disposal.The incumbent will also act as back-up of the waste operation supervisor (also reporting to the Environmental Manager) and in such back-up role he/she will directly coordinate the logistic support contractor firm that's operating the ACR plant (Area Centralizzata Rifiuti).
Regarding the remediation activities, he/she will coordinate the suppliers involved in the sampling campaigns and in the excavation projects (ongoing and future), assuring the predisposition of the technical documents needed for the procedures (see for example art.
242 and 242-ter of Law 152/06) and managing the relationship with the Authorities involved.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate activities in line with legal compliance (DLGS 152/2006) and Corporate Operational Excellence standards for Waste management and remediation.Site coordinator of involved parties in Waste Management: plants, ACR, procurement, engineering, and maintenance.Implementation, management, and updating of internal operating procedures in Waste Management and remediation.Provide assistance and a specialist contribution to the Engineering, Process Development & Design, and Technology Support functions in relation to Environmental technical issues.Conducting Pre Start-up Safety Review and Safety Tours concerning Environmental topics.Site Process Owner for Waste Management and remediation.SPI Environmental site data reviewer for INTELEX of the annual data introduction in the system for waste.Participate in corporate networks and charters.Liaison with the Company Legal team to assure company compliance with relevant environmental legislation.Min.
QualificationsEducation:• Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or equivalentWork Experience:• Work experience of at least 7-10 years in environmental fieldsLanguages:• Good knowledge of English language.Preferred QualificationsLicenses & Certifications:• Training courses: DPR 151/2011, D. Lgs.
