Our client is a fully integrated Independent Power Producer of photovoltaic Renewable Energy, present in 8 countries (Europe, Latin America) with more than 750MW fully owned in operation and under construction and 3,7 GW of secured & advanced pipeline.
In order to expand the business in Italy we are looking for a brilliant SITE MANAGER FOTOVOLTAICO • Supervise all on-site operations, from initial activities to full plant commissioning, including establishing controls for traffic, material storage, subcontractor facilities, and site security.
• Interface with the Client's Representative and subcontractor site managers for organizational, technical, and qualitative aspects.
• Manage subcontractors involved in civil, mechanical, and electrical construction on both LV and MV sides, as well as grid connection works.
• Oversee daily subcontractor management, including on-site personnel, material inventory, equipment, schedules, progress, and site liquidity under the Project Manager's supervision.
• Monitor work progress, verify compliance with schedules, identify deviations, and report progress regularly.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Logistics for logistics management, customs clearance, and material delivery planning, including document management.
• Check materials upon delivery, ensuring consistency with purchases.
• Coordinate on-site team members for QA/QC process implementation.
• Supervise plant commissioning activities in compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
• Attend on-site meetings with the Project Manager, customer representative, construction manager, and H&S inspector.
• Prepare a list of project obstacles and plan execution.
• After completion of the northern portfolio pv plants, shall support the o&m department in managing the plant under operation • Technical education with a degree in industrial, civil, or mechanical engineering.
Bachelor's degree in engineering is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Site Manager in utility-scale photovoltaic system construction.
• Knowledge of relevant CEI/CEI EN regulations.
• MV work experience.
• Excellent knowledge of electromechanical components, communication protocols, and monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with H&S standards.
• Strong organization skills in on-site documentation management.
• Proficient in Office, Autocad, and design tools such as MS Project.
• PREPOSTO/PES/PEI qualification in compliance with Italian H&S legislation is a plus.
• Good communication in both written and oral English.
