The EMEAI Finance Manager position is accountable for developing, implementing, and managing the financial controls, practices, and procedures that are consistent with Division and Corporate policy which provide management with timely information.
This position will primarily support the Minerbio plant.
Responsibilities Develop annual operating budget for Minerbio Site. This includes working with the Plant Manager and Operating Groups to develop timely and accurate site budgets. Be responsible for the monthly close of financial data to the General Ledger. This includes timely and accurate entries to the General Ledger in accordance with Global Supply Chain Accounting Department's monthly closing schedule. Review and present monthly financial results and provide explanation on variances vs budget, forecast and prior year. Prepare and present in-depth analysis of monthly Opportunity Costs results. Maintain detailed and accurate site financial records. Prepare and present monthly financial forecasts. Partner with Plant Manager and Area Controller in setting goals, writing appraisals, and providing training requirements in a timely manner for finance team members. Onboard, develop, mentor, and coach finance team members. Provide where necessary training to non-finance team members on site's financial operations. Serve as a Business Partner with site staff, Financial Shared Services, and PCG team. Participate in Management Review, Corrective Action, and Employee Communication Meetings. Provide return on investment analysis for all ROI capital projects and assist with the development of the annual capital plan. Reconcile capital spend by comparing subledger detail to planned capital spend; assist site maintenance/engineering staff in forecasting capital spend in PFP. Collaborate with plant Continuous Improvement resources and Project Leads to develop OP-16 savings and Schedule G execution. Organize and report-out key capacity project CAPEX spend at Minerbio plant. Perform annual standard costing process and ensure accuracy of standard cost throughout the year. Ensure inventory transaction accuracy, perform monthly reconciliations, and provision calculations. Manage annual physical inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
