All about the role: The Simulations team within Product Technology (PT) is looking for a dynamic, intellectually curious, team-oriented individual to drive the simulation ecosystem of tools and processes, focused on HPC, automation, and optimization. You will be part of a team that drives digital transformation in developing, structuring, and integrating the use of simulations in the product creation process, to develop better products at a faster pace, more efficiently, and committed to quality for a better consumer experience.
We're looking for a Simulation Ecosystem Expert to join us.
What you'll do: The Simulations ecosystem expert will be driving and executing global, cross-product lines and cross-function initiatives. The key objectives are:
Enhancing, while guaranteeing operations, of the Electrolux Simulation ecosystem of tools integrating simulation software, internal High-Performance Computing, external clouds, and Product Lifetime Management processes to run activities effectively.
Drive introduction and scale-up of Simulation Process and Data management functionalities.
Develop the capabilities of the simulation community to accelerate value creation by adopting simulation.
In detail, you will: Execute & coordinate key projects & initiatives to maximize the impact of simulation adoption and technology development enabled by the simulation ecosystem.
Autonoumsly plan, execute and supervise ecosystem workstreams in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure proper management of simulations ecosystem infrastructure reliability, accessibility, operations, and quality assurance, resources in the field of:
High Performing Computing (HPC) server solution.
HPC services: Remote desktop and access portal, middleware services (Queuing system, System usage monitoring, License servers, etc.), cloud bursting, data management.
Investment planning
Develop technology roadmaps, validate, implement and maintain solutions and services for Simulation Process & Data management (SPDM) with a focus on:
PLM for simulation
Simulation automation
Simulation optimization
Simulation data analytics
Lead continuous improvement and agile routines and have active hands-on SPDM activities for product development.
Support competence development and trainings, develop and maintain guidelines, specifications and playbooks.
Closely interact with and maintain strong links between the Simulations team and IT to ensure a seamless and integrated delivery of project portfolio and overall simulation strategy.
Work and collaborate in an international environment within the Electrolux Simulation community and governance (global and regional simulation expert teams, users, designers, project leaders and managers).
Contribute to enhance our global simulation community network
Qualifications: Apart from being an energetic and motivated individual, you have:
A Master's degree in Technology or Engineering in Digital Fields. PhD or similar qualifications are a plus.
10 years of experience in a simulation ecosystem professional position or ideally 3 years in a senior role in Product Simulation.
You demonstrate a track-of history of (e.g. value-adding projects, technologies put in production, etc.)
You have robust knowledge of simulation tasks and related tools in:
Managing High Performing Computing (HPC) infrastructure for simulation use (on-prem).
Simulation Process Data Management (SPDM): automation, optimization and data analytics (eg: HEEDS, Modefrontier, 3DX archestrate, Power-Bi)
Key application tools technologies such as: Siemens - Simcenter, Altair-Hyperworks, 3DS-3D experience, Ansys, ESI, Comsol, Modefrontier, Optimization SW, CAD SW, others.
PLM data management such as TeamCenter, Enovia, 3DX or bitbucket.
You are proficient and well-written in English.
Additional Requirements: You have a fundamental knowledge of:
Cloud HPC systems like Azure, AWS, Rescale, others.
AI and Reduced Order Modelling
Agile and project management (eg: Jira)
Scripting (eg: Java, python)
Linux OS
Fundamental knowledge of at least 2 simulation tech domains (CFD, FEM, Formability, System model, EMAG, others) is a plus.
Projects/program management Agile and Waterfall are a plus.

Where you'll be: This is a full-time position, based at our Electrolux Office in Porcia, Italy. You will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.
