Short Term Power Trader

Job Position: Short Term Power Trader If you choose to share your energy with us, you will join the Intraday Trading Desk in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, optimise and execute trading strategies in EU countries on short term power markets.
You'll help to develop our algo trading system strategies, giving an active contribution to our quant team.
To be successful in this role, you must have a flair for numbers and logical reasoning, and you must be able to tackle and quickly solve problems.
To do list (what you will do): Trade on DayAhead and Intraday Power Markets across Europe; Take an active part in developing algorithmic trading models and quantitative models; Develop and execute day-to-day and intraday strategies; Obtain expert understanding of the key drivers of the power market; Provide open and honest feedback; Required experience (also known as hard skills): A Mathematical / Physics / Statistical / Finance or similar degree; At least 1 year experience in an intraday power trading role; Good knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA; Soft Skills (our favourites!
