Shore Excursions Assistant & Travel Consultant

I'm looking for a full time, motivated and experienced Italy Travel Specialist for a Luxury DMC based in Livorno.

The applicant must speak & write English at a similar level of a native English speaker.

Starting contract for 6 / 8 months.

Training of almost 3 months in Livorno.
After that there will be the possibility to work from home 3 days out of 5.

The applicant should already live in Tuscany (possibility of travel expense reimbursement).

Responsibilities Create and sell tailor made travel packages (the majority are luxury packages) including transportation, hotels and other travel services.
Work with North American travel advisors to determine the needs of the clients and create the specific itinerary.
Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
Invoice and enter data in our accounting program (Zucchetti – eAgency).
Network with North American travel agencies and local suppliers all over Italy.
Requirements Proven work experience as an Italy Travel Specialist, best if in the luxury segment.
Fluency in English with excellent writing and editing skills is a must; German is a plus.
Strong sales skills and commercial awareness.
Good knowledge of Italian geography.
Being very well organized, precise and capable of meeting deadlines.
The ability to cope with stressful situations and maintain a positive, calm approach.
Great team worker with a positive attitude when working in a group of colleagues.
