What Happens in Shipping and Receiving Anyway? Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors Receive newly donated items from our Donations team Help us be green and sustainable, sort and ship recyclable items Lift up to 50 lbs. Our search is focused on people who enjoy a warehouse environment and teamwork, combined with a great work ethic and a passion for helping people. Successful candidates are hard-working with great customer service for our donors, thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, and enjoy an indoor-outdoor work environment. This position provides a unique opportunity for those looking to combine their passion for charities with their interest in retail. Primary Job Duties Counts, weighs, and measures incoming and outgoing shipments Moves materials to point of need on time Documents movement and weights in required tracking system Identifies shortage and increases, while documenting discrepancies and communicating issues to management Operates material handling equipment safely, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist customers/donors with store donation center when needed. Any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or management.
