Lubricants Supply Chain (LSC) is responsible for planning, production, and delivery of lubricants to Shell customers and distributor partners all over the world.
LSC is part of the Global Commercial organisation within Shell's Downstream Business.
LSC safely supplies Shell's lubricants and greases to customers with their requirements everyday by driving the most cost-effective global supply chain, including sourcing, manufacturing and logistics whilst delivering sustainability objectives.
Ensuring a robust supply chain strategy that meets the overall business objectives today whilst continuously innovating and improving for the future.
LSC operates 40 Lube Oil Blending Plants (LOBPs) including 5 Base Oil Manufacturing Plants (BOMPs) and 10 Grease Manufacturing Plants (GMPs) as well as several distribution centres worldwide.
The LSC organization is split into 4 regions: Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East & Africa (EMEA), China & Hong Kong.

The objective of LSC, ERA Regional Engineering team is to support the region to be the best it can be, now and in the future and thereby the team's purpose is to:
- Provide technical assurance for selected Asset Integrity, Maintain Margin and Growth projects.
- Provide technical assurance for the implementation of Asset Integrity and Process Safety minimum requirements for operating assets
- Drive standardization and simplification
- Identify opportunities for implementation of state-of-the-art technology and automation
- Serve as centre of excellence for knowledge gathering and sharing across the region as well as global.
- Ambassador of PMS (LSC specific project management framework) in Europe, Russia, and Africa.
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions
The Regional Engineer will drive / implement / contribute to and or coach / manage / influence in support of the above stated team purpose whilst ensuring HSSE is at the heart of all work.
The Regional Engineer needs to build a strong relationship with the regional Lube Oil Blend Plants (LOBP's) and Grease Manufacturing Plants (GMP's) and in particular those for which he/she is the engineering focal point.
