**Job Title: SHE Manager**
**About the role**
Our ambition "Go4Zero" (0 accidents, 0 quality incidents, 0 delays, and 0 impact) leads Barry Callebaut to look for a Safety, Health, & Environment (HSE) Manager for the San Sisto plant.
**Key Responsibilities Include**
- Building an SHE culture inside the San Sisto plant based on the CSD and global strategy.
Partnering with the management team, local workers, unions, and Plant Manager to reach a "0 accidents" culture throughout the plant
- Assume the responsibilities of the Safety Advisor, as determined by Italian Law
- Develop, communicate, and implement an SHE strategy - as well as Lean Thinking, including the necessary tools, methods, assets, and culture - to ensure a continuous improvement of the SHE performance of the site
- Proposing and communicating SHE policies, ensuring that the plant is complying with European and local regulations in SHE
- Leading and giving guidelines to the local team and plant management
- Develop and emphasize behaviors, by improving safety empowerment and commitment on the shop floor and within the organization
- Promote engineering improvements in a "set from design" mindset for assets
- Develop training (with HR support) to help create a safety shared mindset within management and operating roles
- Follow the entire health surveillance process
- Support investigation and recommend actions for SHE accidents
- Recommend action plans after audits
- Ensure that best professional practices are shared inside the organization between sites
- Manage internal and external relationships on behalf of government requirements and internal policy compliance
- Work together with the operational sites and related departments to coordinate business resiliency/continuity planning to reduce the impact on operations when disasters or any mission critical-impact event occurs (risk assessment skills)
**About You**
- You have a Master's Degree in Engineering / Safety and Health / Environmental Coordinator
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in structured companies
- You are fluent in Italian and English
- You have an inspiring Safety Leadership skill
- You are goal oriented
- You have excellent communication skills
