**Responsibilities**:
Peraton is seeking a
**SETAF-AF, OPD Team Manager** to be responsible for the leadership and management of Peraton contrator support assigned to the SETAF-AF Operational Protection Directorate (OPD), located in
**Vicenza, Italy.
**
In this role, your will:
- Be responsible for the synchronization, coordination, resourcing, and completion of assigned Mission Assurance Assessment (MAA) and Threat Vulnerability Assessment (TVA) projects, and serves as the Peraton single point of contact for those projects.
- Routinely travels to the African Continent to support OPD assessment efforts focused on both US and Host Nation facilities.
- Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports for both the OPD customer and Peraton management chains.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews all project deliverables.
- Serve as the primary Peraton management interface for the company, the OPD customer, and assigned Peraton team members.
- Provide leadership and management, including general administrative oversight, time accounting, cost projection, personnel evaluation, and personnel support.
Must possess the flexibility and adaptability to assume additional duties assigned by the Program Manager.
Qualifications:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- BS degree with 10-12 years of Management experience or MS degree with 8-10 years Management experience
- Minimum 20 years experience serving in US Army
- Successful completion of CGSC, ILE, or equivalent Military Education
- Minimum 3 years recent experience (within past 6 years) serving with SETAF-AF (formerly known as US Army Africa) in Vicenza, Italy
- Active Security Clearance, Secret or higher
**Preferred Qualification**:
- Service on a US Army operational deployment to the African Continent
