Within the Corporate Projects and Services Department and reporting to the Department Group Leader, this role has the responsibility to procure Projects Transportation Services and develop Cost Estimates for Commercial Proposals: Key Activities & Responsibilities within Projects: Source and procure logistics/shipping services in compliance with Available Budget, Project Schedule, Required Service Levels, Contracted Scope of Work & Quality requirements; Develop and propose Project Tender Strategy; Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders to secure on-time availability of tender documents; Prepare, develop, manage and run complex tenders autonomously; Assess Financial and Compliance Risk of Forwarders to identify and mitigate potential risks; Analyze tender data, perform scenario analysis and develop negotiation strategy; Negotiate with Forwarders for best costs, service levels and contractual terms; Develop complex Commercial Bid Evaluations and propose awarding; Define and prepare Award Recommendation; Prepare and issue Contracts/Frame Agreements with Forwarders, consistent with project requirements and company rules; Contract management & follow-up (e.g., New Prices requests, Claims and Contract revisions); Support the Group Leader in driving the development and sustainability of a Transportation service providers supply base able to meet Projects and Corporate Strategy requirements; Prepare Cost Estimates for the Commercial Department; Interface with all internal Stakeholders (Project Team, Logistics specialists, Legal, Administration, and Estimating department); Propose continuous process improvements leading to cost optimization leveraging also Digital Innovations.
Personal Attributes: Knowledge of reference market and relevant providers; Ability to manage multiple tasks/activities at the same time; Strong data analysis and scenario development; Consolidated time management and problem-solving attitude; Strong experience in transportation contracts preparation and negotiation; Proficient written and verbal communication in English; Attention to detail to ensure all documents/deliverables produced are accurate; Aptitude to build, develop and consolidate relationships at all levels within the company organization and supply base; Knowledge of SAP.
