Job Description
For the Industrial Water Treatment (IWT) Sales organization in EMEA we are looking for a:
Junior Field Service Engineer / Service Technician - Refinery and Petrochemical Region: North-west, Italy
The position will report to the Area Manager.
Weekly working hours: 40 hours
What You'll Do:
• Perform all scheduled service at our customer site on time and as scheduled by his manager.
• Work with sales team to ensure sales growth at customer site/area and district.
• Work with sales representatives to develop day to day activities to secure and grow our business.
• Ensure all needed communications are taking place with our customer including inventory, testing and equipment.
• Focus on removing routine testing or / and service activities from sales representatives.
• Provide all reports to customers in the assigned format in a timely manner.
• Provide timely response on requests for information from customers and managers.
• Monitor chemical inventory to ensure no run out situations take place. Make sure we have proper lead time for each product.
• Check all feed equipment to make sure there are no issues.
• Provide first level maintenance on the equipment.
• Troubleshoot
Details of day-to-day responsibilities:
• Collection of samples at customer sites
• Water analysis in boilers, towers, osmosis, and wastewater in the environment of heavy industry
• Reports and data management
• Probe calibration
• Review of stocks of chemical products
• Review of the operation of chemicals measurement
• Control equipment maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Checking the operation of dosing pumps and other equipment
What You'll Bring:
• Higher or Intermediary Education preferably Chemistry, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Perito chimico is required, or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Service experience or knowledge in the Water treatment (Refinery & Petrochemical industry) will be a distinctive advantage.
• Customer focus - Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers.
