Are you passionate about being part of a successful team?Do you like working in collaborative teams and solving critical issues?Join our Baker Hughes Team!As Service Technical Advisor for Pumps, Valves and Fuel gas systems, you will be responsible for executing advisory services in coordination with the Product Manager and Service Sales Leader.You Will Be Responsible ForWorking within the Service Engineering team.Engaging with the Service Sales Leader and Service Product Manager to identify sites and/or customers that deserve adequate deep dives.Supporting main customers remotely and often locally, surveying the fleet, tackling and anticipating technical issues, and building intimacy between the Customer and PVS based on technical collaboration and fleet control.Acting as the front end to analyze fleet data and identify recurrent failure modes to propose technical upgrades for the various PVS products.Taking technical leadership of the proposals, through close cooperation with the ITO team (AE, com.
ops, and sales) and Customers to define technical solutions.Performing site surveys to verify scope of work feasibility and to negotiate technical aspects of proposals.Working closely with the Product Management team to leverage channels and the ASC network to create synergies and collaboration to maintain close control of the PVS fleet.
In this context, you will support Channels by performing site surveys on behalf of the Technical Advisors and/or accompany them to provide local support.Fuel your passionTo Be Successful In This Role You WillHave a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).Have a minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Service Engineering or End User Organizations.Possess strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams, and lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Exhibit effective problem identification and solution skills.Possess proven analytical and organizational ability.Be fluent in English.Have good presentation skills.Be available to support emergencies outside normal working hours.Be available to travel to site at short notice and up to 40% of the working time (including single trips of 2-3 weeks duration).Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best varies.
