Why join GEA Job information Reference Number JR-0024683 Job function Service Position type Full time Site Via Fedolfi, 29, 43038 Sala Baganza PR The Service Sales Area Manager serves customers by selling service products and meeting customer needs in the geographical area of responsibility (WEMEA).
Responsibilities include serving existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
The Service Area Manager will report to the Head of Service Sales Filling Packaging and will be part of the Global Service Support Filling Packaging team.
Your responsibilities and tasks: Sell to existing and potential direct accounts and provide sales support to local branches/distribution partners in the Area of responsibility.
Answer and respond to customer inquiries, needs, and requirements.
Resolve and troubleshoot complex sales and services issues of customers.
Direct and oversee sales policies, objectives, and initiatives in the Area of responsibility.
Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs.
Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the Area of responsibility.
Determine annual sales plans in cooperation with Head of Service Sales by implementing the best marketing strategies.
Coordinate and support local branches to define the best route to market and implement national sales programs.
Responsible for the implementation of sales supporting tools and concepts developed for service in his/her areas of responsibility.
Contribute to service portfolio development of Global Service Support Filling Packaging.
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
Manage, develop, coach, and motivate the local branches sales force.
Provide on-the-ground support to local branches sales force as they generate leads and close new deals.
Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications, and competition for defined geography and accounts.
Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance.
Your profile and qualifications: Mechanical/technical background (aseptic filling/process business knowledge is preferred).
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language (min.
C1).
Fluent in Spanish, French, or Arabic (would be much appreciated).
Complex negotiation management.
Target orientation and planning skills.
Willingness to travel up to 15 days a month.
