Service Manager Bms Controls

This position reports to and works closely with the Receiving Warehouse Supervisor to assist in the receiving and warehouse operations.
In this role, you will perform a variety of functions to move supplies, materials, and equipment to and from receiving, warehouse, and manufacturing areas of the plant.
Organizational skills and the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively are of paramount importance.
Additionally, you will need the ability to use or have a working knowledge of the different functions of the SAP system.What we offer:Competitive salaryPaid vacation/holidays/sick timeComprehensive benefits package including 401K, pension, medical, dental, and vision careOn-the-job/cross-training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policyWhat will you do?Receive oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor and/or lead person.Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on material and equipment.Monitor assigned Queue for requested material from production and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor or lead person.Check material for defective conditions to Supervisor or lead person.Safely move material between the dock, warehouse, and/or manufacturing areas.
Ensure all physical moves are properly and timely recorded within the SAP Warehouse Management System.Conduct yard inventory, dock audit, and/or cycle count as directed by Supervisor or lead person.Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on the material handling equipment such as checking horn, tires, lights, forks, and frame.Exercise great caution and maintain alertness at all times when operating a forklift truck to avoid injury to pedestrians, other drivers, self, and/or damage to materials.Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, including using a forklift.Operation of overhead crane.Other duties may be assigned.Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and work with accuracy.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to operate standard computer and scanner equipment.Ability to safely operate dock equipment, forklift, and pallet jacks.Working knowledge of the SAP System as it pertains to material movements.
