We are now looking for a Service Engineer Mechanic to join our Mechanic Field Services Resources team, in order to improve its after-sales assistance staff and our complex field service activities related to Wärtsilä's products, including their commissioning, trial tests, adjustments, repair and maintenance.
The location for this position is Taranto, Italy. In this position, when you are not working in the field, remote working is an option too.
Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Service Engineer, Mechanic, your work will include the performance of advanced troubleshooting on site to isolate and find the root causes of failures in mechanical equipment related to Wärtsilä's products; the inspection of the work done to ensure that the repairs have been finalized correctly; the preparation of technical and travel reports. Most of the time you will be operating in the Field, being in direct relation with the clients.
