We don't just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with Cancer. The Service Engineer will be responsible for servicing all Elekta products within the area of responsibility. Activities include planned maintenance, emergency corrective maintenance, upgrades, installation work, courtesy calls to local customers, and telephone support either from the office in the BU or from a remote location. This is a home-based role (Mandatory area: - Sicily region, Palermo area) with a requirement to travel throughout the Business Unit and Cluster as required and as directed by their line manager.
What you'll do at Elekta In this exciting and diverse role, you will serve customers in your area primarily and be available to travel outside your area.
Responsibilities Aware of and able to follow the company's policies around compliance, the environment, data management, and quality systems.Capable of using and populating the company's service systems and databases.Independently performing all planned maintenance tasks.Independently performing the majority of corrective maintenance tasks.Performing more complex fault finding and repair independently.Good presentation skills to run local knowledge transfer/service meetings in line with experience.Providing on-the-job coaching as appropriate in line with experience.Competent in the use of IntelliMax and QlikSense to proactively monitor and repair systems.What you bring A higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.Competent with relevant IT technology including Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, networking.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrable drive and commitment to Elekta and the tasks at hand.A basic technical and practical competence in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance.Capable of reading and understanding electrical schematic diagrams.Ability to travel extensively and at short notice in Region Europe.Clean driving license.Why should you join Elekta?
