In line with its mission to serve the research community at large, HT operates National Facilities, specifically aimed at making HT's technologies, methods and tools available to the national scientific community.The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a Service Desk Engineer.Under the supervision of the Service Desk Coordinator, the successful candidate will provide assistance about user's daily issues with their company assets (Laptop, Mobile Phone, …) and promptly understand and fix possible issues via tickets.The Service Desk Engineer will interact with colleagues from Administration and Research, understand the needs and will support the users with all the necessary activities to make the user experience run smoothly.Main tasks and responsibilities:User IT Support and Assistance: Provide reliable and friendly support for desktop and mobile devices, addressing hardware, software, and network issues across multiple operating systems (MacOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile).Installation and Maintenance: Install, modify, and repair hardware, software, and peripherals, both on-site and remotely, resolving or escalating identified issues as needed.Documentation and User Resources: Create and maintain up-to-date support articles and tutorials, providing accurate information on IT products and services for users.Request Tracking and Monitoring: Use ticketing and monitoring systems to document and track support requests, ensuring high-quality service and user satisfaction.IT Resource Optimization and Management: Manage assets and licenses via Asset Management systems, define an IT service catalog, and identify opportunities to automate and improve support processes.Mandatory Requirements:Technical diploma (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication field);Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;Fluency in English, written and spoken.Preferred Requirements:Basic knowledge on Windows and Mac operating systems;Basic knowledge of Linux flavours;Basic usage of commanding skills (Terminal, Powershell);Working knowledge of Office 365.Organizational and Social Skills:Proactivity;Teamworking attitude;Attitude to learn;Good communication skills.Application Instructions:Please apply online sending:a full CV;a motivation letter.WHY HUMAN TECHNOPOLE?Our working environment is international, friendly and inclusive.
