Barilla is looking for a Sensory Laboratory Technician.
The position will report to the Lab Technician Pool Coordinator and to the Sensory and Analytical Food Science Manager and it will be based in our Headquarters in Parma.

Job Purpose This role supports the panel management during and after the tasting sessions by collecting and recording data and caring about panel efficiency and motivation.
Moreover, the role is completed by assuring support to the Analytical laboratories in the reagents' warehouse management and in the purchase order process.
Key Accountabilities - Panel Management support during product tasting sessions, caring about panel experts' efficiency, motivation and results accuracy - Digital Management support at the end of the tasting session t: creating tasting templates; tasting session data acquisition after panel consensus; maintaining data records within sensory and analytical software; - Sensory lab Facility management: organised and stocked sample and materials warehouse, organised and clean laboratory environment - Sample shipment to an external agency - Analytical Laboratory warehouse and supply management - Analytical Laboratory samples management for internal and external analysis and instrument maintenance - Analytical Laboratory Purchase order support Requirements - High School Diploma in chemistry/food chemistry - 1/2 years in an analytical laboratory environment and/or experience in Sensory Laboratory - Intermediate English – at least B1 level - Team working, Negotiation and Communication skills; Organizational skills - Nice to have: Microsoft Office Package; SAP and LIMS (excellent to have) Additional Information: Permanent Contract Full-time Based in Parma Starting date: December 2024/January 2025
