In order to strengthen our engineering team, we are looking to hire a Sensors & Application Engineering Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy). The ideal candidate working within the Sensors & Application Engineering Department is an experienced engineer, passionate about complex, mixed-signal electronic systems, novel sensing solutions and their integration at vehicle level.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for:
Development, optimization & integration of novel sensing strategies at vehicle level.Optimization in terms of performance and/or cost of existing solutions.Collecting requirements from the other R&D departments and providing solutions within the project's constraints in terms of cost & schedule.Supporting the HW & SW development and debugging of components featuring complex electronic sub-systems.In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master's degree or PhD in Electronic, Computer Science or Automation Engineering or equivalent. You will also have gained at least 5 years of dedicated experience in the design, development and debugging of mixed signal electronics.
Knowledge of embedded systems, communication busses, and FW development (C, C++) is mandatory to manage the activities. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and test automation (LabVIEW, Python) is important for the role.
Strong technical project management skills, decision making, and accountability are essential to manage the activities and work transversally within the organization.
