Above all Ferrari is an international team working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.In order to strengthen our engineering team, we are looking to hire a Sensors Application Engineering Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy).The Ideal candidate working within the Sensors Application Engineering Department is an experienced engineer, passionate about complex, mixed-signal electronic systems, novel sensing solutions and their integration at vehicle level.As part of the team, you will be responsible for:Development, optimization integration of novel sensing strategies at vehicle level.Optimization in terms of performance and/or cost of existing solutions.Collection requirements from the other RD departments and provide solutions within the project's constraints in terms of cost schedule.Supporting the HW SW development and debug of components featuring complex electronic sub-systems.In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master's degree or PhD in Electronic, Computer Science, or Automation Engineering or equivalent.
And you will have gained at least 5 years' dedicated experience on the design, development, and debug of mixed-signal electronics.Embedded systems, communication busses, FW development (C, C++) knowledge is mandatory to manage the activities.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and test automation (LabVIEW, Python) is important for the role.Strong technical project management skills, decision making, and accountability are essential to manage the activities and work transversally within the organization.In Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability.
It is important to be proactive in proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities.Fluent English is required for the position, and Italian language skills are an advantage.
