We are currently looking for a Senior Workshop Technician with main responsibility overhauling and machining engine components.
The location for this position is in Genoa (Italy).
Your role and responsibilities As a Senior Workshop Technician, you will focus on these responsibilities: Execute workshop and on-site service tasks, as per field service needs, such as: overhauls, reconditioning, modification, cleaning, and machining of engine components.Be an integral part of the workshop team. Strive to achieve common goals and customer deadlines.Liaise closely with Team Leader to ensure work scopes are kept within budget and specified delivery schedule.Ensure that all activities in the workshop are carried out in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety standards.Adopt a pleasant, adaptable attitude towards any duties that may be required.Requirements for the position Capable of reading and understanding assembly and manufacturing drawings, as well as technical instructions.Metrology skills (gauge, bore gauge, depth gauge).Experience in assembling mechanical components.English knowledge (ability in reading, writing, and speaking).As an ideal candidate you might also have… Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Experience in operating machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines.CAD Knowledge.Experience in a similar role within the marine industry would be a plus.Problem solving attitude.Respectful and constructive approach towards own time and responsibilities management.Eager to learn and evolve.Why you and us?
