WSP Italy has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Treasurer position who will join our Finance team in our Turin office.
The successful candidate will become part of our team that supports and executes WSP financial strategies in line with the group and the CFO and will become a pivotal member of the team whilst contributing to developing and implementing treasury policy and process. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INCLUDE? Supervise and personally handle, for the more complex entities within the cluster, the processes of payment execution and recording, bank reconciliation, corporate credit card management, and any other process related to the management of financial flows. Develop and execute payments using the Piteco treasury system, in compliance with company and group policies and procedures. Collaborate with business functions involved in collection and payment processes to optimize the related flows. Monitor the company's cash balances and financial flows. Monitor bank accounts and bank fees, ensuring they comply with contractual agreements and agreed terms. Coordinate and supervise intra-group cash pooling activities. Manage relationships with financial institutions regarding day-to-day treasury activities and the execution of financial strategies defined by the group and the CFO. Coordinate financial flows with foreign subsidiaries, in compliance with the guidelines defined by the group treasury. Prepare weekly reports to be sent to the headquarters regarding actual and forecasted financial data. Support in defining, developing, and monitoring key treasury KPIs, in compliance with the characteristics of the reference market and group policies. Contribute to the development and implementation of treasury information systems and reporting tools, focusing on continuously improving processes in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and fraud risk mitigation. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields; 7-10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in treasury, in structured environments; Proficiency in the use of treasury software systems and financial tools; Good knowledge of general accounting, financial statements, treasury, and key software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Excellent command of the English language; Excellent analytical skills and communication abilities; Strong organizational skills; Adaptability and flexibility; Problem-solving skills and results-oriented approach; A team-oriented attitude and a proactive approach complete the profile.
