This role can be based in one of our offices in London, Munich, Paris, Milan, Madrid or Barcelona.Amazon is looking for an experienced, customer focused analytical leader to join the EU Fashion Team.
As the Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager you will own defining and executing a Supply Chain Roadmap with several of our most loved brands in Fashion.
You will collaborate with a team of Product and Programs managers and Brand Specialists to drive operational process improvements for the vendors with a goal of maximizing product availability and executional excellence.
In this critical role, you are going to help redefining Supply Chain to align it with Amazon procurement systems and to bring collaboration with strategic Fashion vendors to a next level.
You will be involved in all aspects of vendor operations management and Supply Chain optimization.
In this role, you need to be able to lead and influence both internal stakeholders as well as our vendors in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.Key job responsibilitiesKey areas of focus include identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning, optimizing end-to-end supply chain integration with a goal of reducing waste and carbon emissions.
You will analyze production and delivery lead-times and operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations and fulfillment, efficient receive process and inventory placement.

Ideally, you will bring a several years of experience in supply chain and/or operations consulting.About the teamThis position is office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon's current flexible work guidance.
Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Milan, MI, ITABASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Several years supply chain, inventory management and/or project management experience• Experience in working with computer databases and complex data sets• Strong analytical and problem solving skills• Leading process improvement with a help of techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation• Strong written and oral communication • Experience in building and managing partnerships with vendors and/or external customers up to an executive levelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Fluency in languages including German, Spanish, Italian or French will be beneficial• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance or Supply Chain• Consulting background in one of areas: supply chain, inventory management, partner management• Familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques• Excellent business judgment, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
