For Network Components Business Unit we are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Leader, responsible of taking part and support the growth of accessories segment business in High Voltage and Medium Voltage.
The ideal candidate, with a global scope , will be responsible and fit the following tasks and requirements: Your role: Business Priorities (HV/MV) : • identify the business's specific requirements and priorities (with Commercial Team) • understand Products Road Maps and market trends Products/Components Maps : •Identify products and components that need to be sourced •finalize the macro specs (with Quality and R&D) Develop Sourcing Strategy according to NWC Business priorities •Define the approach for sourcing for new Products or new components (with R&D collaboration) •Make or buy strategies (with Operation collaboration) •Single or multiple suppliers, global or local sourcing Supplier Scouting : · Conduct research to identify potential suppliers.
· Evaluate their capabilities and financial stability.
Supplier Selection : •Create a list of potential suppliers •Evaluate each supplier based on quality, cost, reliability, production capabilities and alignment with business goals – with R&D, Plant, Quality •Engage the selected suppliers •Product/component First Step homologation - – with R&D and Quality The successful candidate: · Fluent English and extensive travel availability · 5 -8 years of relevant experience · Engineering / Business Degree You want to find out more?
