The Global Enterprise Relationship Lead is a highly visible role with exposure to divisional commercial leaders, our corporate leadership team and customer C-Suite executives.
She/he will own partnership account plan strategy development and execution, working closely with a broad network of internal stakeholders to define and deliver innovative solutions that leverage our total company value proposition to convey substantial and sustained impact for both our customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
She/he will be responsible for leading high-performance Account Management Teams (AMTs) in an intercultural, diverse, virtual, matrix environment, and will often have to ensure alignment on overall partnership strategy in the face of competing interests and priorities.This role offers a truly unique opportunity to work closely with the full suite of Thermo Fisher Scientific products and capabilities, the leaders who oversee them, and our most strategic customers who rely on them every day in the pursuit of their own missions / visions.Key Responsibilities:
Translate deep customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities that deliver value to both our customers and Thermo FisherLead theAMTs in the creation of overall account strategy, leveraging our breadth and depth of capabilities to create high-impact, innovative, science
- and customer-centric solutionsBuild credible, influential relationships with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders, and help facilitate customer access for our divisional colleaguesActively engage with partnership executive sponsors and members of the Thermo Fisher Leadership Team to proactively deepen customer intimacy and extend customer value creationAct as the primary interface between our strategic partners and Thermo Fisher, managing governance activities, sourcing new needs/opportunities, and supporting resolution of critical issuesNegotiate large and complex deal structuresCreate a successful, inclusive, and trustworthy work environment that foster our 4i valuesMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:
B.Sc.
degree, preferably in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering); MBA or professional business education is highly desirableMinimum of 7 years in a senior level account management or business development position within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, fine chemical, contract research or laboratory supply sectorsExtensive experience working within a matrix environment and driving alignment on a common purpose despite occasionally competing/conflicting interestsStrong business and financial acumen, including understanding of the P&L drivers, dynamics, and trade-offsDeep and sincere passion for creating an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative team environmentPositive attitude and resiliency to changing business environmentsAbility / willingness to spend significant time on site at global customer locationsThis position is based in EuropeAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000+ extraordinary minds have a unique story to tell.
