Senior Specialist - Story Editor (Sost. Maternità)

Reporting directly to the Head of Content & Development – Sky Studios Italy, the Junior development role will be involved in the selection, development and production of Sky Studios original production slate for Italy.
Responsibilities include:
Participating in editorial meetings with producers and screenwriters to share feedback and editorial needs and ensure the quality of the scripts;

Written production of notes to share with writers and producers at all stages of development;

Assessment and evaluation of a broad range of materials, making recommendations on submissions to enter into development and providing feedback;

Management of the overall selection process: pitches review, schedule & archive management;

Curating the information required to take potential submissions to development and greenlight;

Attending weekly business, development and production meetings as required;

Taking part in and oversee the production of material to be shared internally at Sky with other departments to coordinate the production of ancillary content to the series and present our slate to the company.

Requirements:
Degree in literature, philosophy cinema or communication

At least one year of experience in tv series/movie Development
